Some blackened thrash and speed metal influence combined with some old school traditional metal influences leads to the creation of a damn fucking great 2024 metal album.
Didn't enjoy this one much. Heavily leans on speed/thrash/black metal. I found it mediocre at best.
It's good...but I just don't see what's really elevating this above any other blackened thrash/speed metal that's come out this year.
It's slight;y more interesting than this year's Midnight project, but only because it borrows influences from the scrappy early NWoBHM days a la Angel Witch and early Iron Maiden, compared to Midnight borrowing from the scrappy days of Motorhead and Venom.
