Luminosity Device isn't a perfect Surgeon LP ... But in the music's detail and delivery you can feel how Child has mastered these errant, infinitely complex machines.
Inspired by the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the Birmingham techno producer puts a fresh spin on his pummeling club tracks; the album is equally suited for dancefloor abandon and spiritual searching.
just some brvvtal industrial techno without any conceptual baggage attached to it (this is a lie but it's still not a big departure from the genre). the basic way in which this album exudes quality is in the dynamism of the squelchy riffs that loop through each track, and these tracks have a lot of dynamism in their riffage, which means this is a good album. the cover art is scaring me though.
