Unfortunately pretty rough debut album. The production is pretty bad and the performances aren't much better. The band also had a different guitarist and bassist at the time, which causes the band to lack the sound that would come to define the band afterwards. Definitely not really coming back to this one.

Oh boy, does this NOT sound like the band this will become just a few years from this point. That's not just because Ryo and Ue-chan aren't in the band yet, but also because Daisukes' Vocals on this album are very bad. That is by far the biggest hurdle to overcome if you want to find the enjoyment some of these Songs have to offer.
Purple Fire Tail has a pretty cool Riff, Pineapple has fantastic drumming and both tracks titled The Claim of Youth foreshadow the energy the band can create when ... read more

Erm...
It's like MAXIMUM THE HORMONE... if they were being compressed in a hydraulic press. The instrumentals are mediocre for the most part, excluding some tracks that had decent instrumentation and production; the singing is... intolerable, to say the least, and it's just sadly horrible overall.
