'HIGH' is exactly the overproduced, generic yet kinda digestible country pop you'd expect from Keith Urban at this point. 'MESSED UP AS ME' and 'DAYTONA' are highlights that deserve a spin, you can skip the rest.
As you’d expect from a musician entering the fourth decade of their career, 'HIGH' is an incredibly introspective album and one of the most personal Keith Urban records since 'Defying Gravity.' While his recent works also explore personal themes, they don’t have the same openness as 'HIGH.'
