Still one of my favorite bands, I find them underrated at least for the whole "new wave of American heavy metal" scene which is basically all the early 2000s bands that took metalcore elements but weren't metalcore all the way most of the time, (Lamb of God, Chimaira, etc)
The Light That Blinds has excellent riffs, the chorus being slower is a solid move but at the same time kinda drops the energy a bit. Really solid opener with great lead guitar though, nice groove too. ... read more
