Yeah I’m kinda disappointed by this, I already listened to pain olympics and loved it, so this is my second album. Idk I just feel like it was underwhelming, it’s still very experimental and weird just, it felt really flat and (despite having an adventurous approach to music) it did not feel adventurous at all, felt like a trudge to get through.
It shows a lot of promises, but falls a bit flat in a fair few areas. Enjoyable, but not stellar.
Really unique spin on the genre and especially rewarding to come back to after the group’s near-decade evolution
