I am pretty sure the “alternate version” of songs I listened on Spotify to was part of this reissue… either way after a skim I could tell this version had far more substance, and I decided to check it out. The style of this album is very different from anything Nico had done up to this point, as it focuses on a more New Wave take of things. This is excellent, crazy, doomy goth rock. Some insanely low reviews here that don't make a lot of sense.
Criminally underrated and overlooked. The 83 version of the album is so much better than the 81 version.
