Thank you @guest0 for this reminder to go back to something from Nico. I really messed with The Marble Index so much, it reminded me of Arca, but from the 70's for some reason. And so does this, this is so dark and out of the ordinary. The wails, this DARK piano, its amazing. This is such a horrifying soundscape, with Nico's depressing & dark singing, it just makes it so much more eerie. She only continues to break down the norms with the aptly titled, exceptionally dark 'The End..."

Traditional compositions are challenged on The End... and experimental and unconventional ones mostly pan out pleasingly. Jim Morrison reference gives this album a smiley face sticker on top of that.

Thank you @guest0 for the rec. This album is extremely weird, and according to fans, it’s her weirdest. This sort of made me not connect fully with a lot of the stuff on here. It’s just really droney and boring at times. It’s still good, though. The cover of The End is great, though I’ll stick with The Doors. Overall, a great album by our racist misogynist Queen.
