'Lorca' is most famous for its bizarre and lengthy title track - did Buckley go a step too far here? Well, I've learnt to appreciate 'Lorca' and the second evil twin track, the jazzy 'Anonymous Proposition', but I always felt in their strange way they dominated the album, or at least what you remember of the album.

This album is just... uncomfortable to listen to. But in the absolute best possible way, just sends waves of shivers up my spine.

Listened to this a little while ago now, but Lorca is certainly one of the most creative and engaging Tim Buckley albums, and just all-around tremendous. It sets out some of the discomfort and weirdness that would define his masterpiece later that same year, Starsailor, yet stands completely on its own as a remarkably strong work.
