EVERY ALBUM FROM SSX 3 [PART 16]
The song on the soundtrack: Freeze
I thought this was gonna be a fairly standard hip-hop album, then I'm hit with songs that sound like they were written for Nelly and a straight reggae song.
Not sure how much some of this is gonna grow on me, but I can respect k-os for doing a bunch of different musical things competently. A little bit more hip-hop might have been nice though

k-os is an incredibly talented and dedicated musician and it really shows on his debut, the production all around is incredible, and the stylistic choices are awesome even if they don’t always totally hit.
Patience and Superstarr Part 2 were easily the best songs to me as well as the title track.
The remixed version of Heaven Only Knows is infinitely better with the Isley Brothers sample IMO.
