Spill Magazine
It’s moving, it’s powerful, and above all, it’s unmistakably Mumford & Sons.

Clash
In their most cohesive sounding album to date, Mumford & Sons, combine strong, emotional lyrics and convey those lyrics by reflecting them in their music. When Marcus Mumford sings about feeling “broken”, boy, do you believe him! But, equally, there is so much hope intertwined within these songs.

The Telegraph
Folky stand-outs like Monochrome cast a warm glow, and Carry On concludes with the expertly poignant wordplay and emotive refrain which will surely have Anglo-American audiences weeping. Five albums in, the Mumfords will, indeed, carry on.

AllMusic

Rushmere is rooted in themes of affection, harmony, and prosperity -- the album title is a nod to the Wimbledon Common pub where the bandmembers first cemented their friendships.

Mojo
As befits an album named after the Wimbledon pond where things began, they've gone back to business with a back to basics set.
60
The Independent

On their first album in seven years, the British band keep to familiar territories of Ye Olde England and the dusty Americana that suits their holy-rolling emotional tone.

60
The Irish Times
It’s not going to win many new listeners. On the other hand, it won’t make you want to grab the nearest banjo and impale it on an electric fence, which surely counts as its own kind of victory.
50
Uncut

It's relentless, formulaic and irritating - and although things improve hugely when they drop the bombast on later tracks such as "Where It Belongs", "Blood On The Page" and the gorgeous "Carry On", by then it's almost too late.

Spectrum Culture

RUSHMERE is enough to get fans in seats and have them eager to hear what’s next. For anyone else, Mumford & Sons’ fifth album is an easy skip.

The Observer

A return to their inglorious past for the British folk rockers comes served with an extra helping of self-indulgence.

We are young (Ho!)
There's a fire in our soul, we go big or go home together
We are young (That's right!)
We’re black and we’re whitе, but we all will be tonight, forevеr
'Cause we will never die
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh
No one I know will ever die
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh
Your mom and dad will never die

I can't bear to hear another song with a guitar duet as the intro.

big day for walmart radio stations

There’s really nothing crazy about this album or mumford and sons in general to me. Really with the whole “stomp and holler” genre, it’s something that I wouldn’t really mind if it was played in the background, but it’s just too dull and uninteresting to be something I’d actually want to listen to. Considering this, it’s even harder for me to enjoy in a full length LP. There’s just not a lot of value in ... read more

"And that’s it?" Yes. Just an okay album to listen to while doing something else. It’s not annoying, but it doesn’t offer anything particularly exciting either. That said, after Winston Marshall left in 2021 (probably the best musician in the band), I was expecting a total disaster— especially after the release of the horrendous 'Good People'. But thankfully, it didn’t turn out that bad. Still, ... read more

[RESENHA SIMPLIFICADA]

Even though I would rather listen to this over prizefighter any day it still is really not a great album...
