“BUZZKILL” offers Lyn’s best work yet.
With this being her debut LP, I figure it would be similar to her first EP, “to love in the 21st century”, and it still is, but much more polished and refined. BEABUZZKILL4EVER
I promise I’m not biased unlike my fangirling over this album might suggest. Anyway, this album is pretty solid. Although it doesn’t differ much from Lyn’s previous sound, it shows clear improvement making it an extremely enjoyable listen. For the album-specific songs (aka non singles) I felt that they leaned more towards the ballad side, which threw me off course considering the singles. However, they are very good. buzzkill - Starting it all off with an accoustic record, starting it all off in a party sort of setting, seeing Lyn starting to bring in the storytelling as well, to bring in that kind of poppy feel too, and the way that this track definitely sets the tone down and settling in a little bit of that envy from her, which in some sort of way is being viewed in a cutesy way, though will start to derail from ... read more
I listened to all of Lyn's discography Tonight and wow... BUZZKILL is a fantastic record. It shows her growth as an artist while still maintaining her original essence and while also incorporating more genres such as as jazz & R&b. I hope that in the future people will discover this album and realize how great it isππ
