Listened to this purely based on the awesome cover art. It's at it's best when it's trying to make actual songs, but often falls into the faults where it tries to be technical which just doesnt work for me
While I definitely acknowledge and appreciate how unique and forward thinking this is, apart from a couple cool songs and moments, this kinda thing isn’t really for me. Also some sections feel very jumbled/thrown together and go on for longer than necessary imo. It’s not an outright bad album, it’s decent for what it is, it’s just nothing that I ever see myself going back to.
The cover art is fucking awesome though.
