Even after hearing Mk.gee's debut EP Pronounced McGee you can tell there is truly something special here to be desired even if you aren't completely sure what it is. Pretty consistent and chill indie EP, however it’s clear he hasn’t found his sound yet and there aren’t too many major highlights
Mk.gee presents a brief but interesting soundscape, but their vocals are often lost within it. Whether purposeful or not, I listened to this around 4 times in total, and I'm still unable to fully grasp what they're saying, and ultimately part of the meaning is lost through a (potentially purposeful) drowned production. Sonically solid, it just feels like something is missing.

pretty decent, not really anything special though. just found it a little boring. i guess wheel and maybe Drown weren't bad but i don't think i'll be going out of my way to come back to it
