There are genuine flashes of greatness here, the issue comes when the stereotypical vocals come in. Admittedly they aren't as distracting on similar metal projects, but I just have a hard time clicking with them, as every single project that uses them has ultimately been ruined in some way because of them.
I don't know where I found this but I'm very happy I did.
Admittedly my opinion if this album might be more favourable, as I didn't listen to this 3 hour compilation in one sitting. Though, that being said, most songs on here are good to great, with only the last 10 (out of 50) being some of their weaker material.
Consistently had flashbacks to Six Feet Under's Graveyard Classics IV, due to the instrumentals being good (in this case very good) but the vocals honestly just ruining it. I don't dislike this project as much as that one, but it's still something I wanted to be finished with within the first 10 minutes.

I’m not sure but I think I’ve heard about that one! If you’re into interestingly unpredictable rock records, you might like the debut from Black Country, New Road!
