The gloomy persistence on Heritage can test the listener, but for those willing to hang back and move at a slower doom pace, there can be some great meditations. A strong consistence through and through.

Ex-Officium Triste guitarist Bram Bijlhout delivers an absolute masterclass with his project. It's steeped in classic Peaceville death-doom, but avoids the gothic cliches that many of those bands would begin to rely on.
