A great modern Death Doom Metal record, and although it may not doing anything new, Worm manages to make a dread filled, cold hearted dense listen of heavy dark metal and with a genuinely nice progression within the sound and song writing since they're 2020 release, it seems Worm is going in the right direction.

Such a mean record. Compared to the previous release i listened to, Gloomlord, it has a much more progressed sound and more consistent approach.
Just as swampy as the name implies. This album sounds like it was strained through moss. Something mystical and doomy in the melodic passages. Rotted but regal. Perfectly paced, the album pulls you ever deeper into the humid decay.
Really nails the balance between the churn and burn of doom metal, while maintaining good passages of death. Really gnarly record, but a bit by-the-numbers overall.
