Like night and day with its predecessor, Jackson Wang's sequel album, MAGICMAN 2, takes a sharp turn into more contemplative and hazy territory, eschewing the bombast, frustration, and cathartic release of MAGICMAN in favor of introspection and atmosphere.
So empty. Before the release, Jackson went on an extended press run, promising to open up about what he’d been through during his time away. His struggles, his thoughts on the industry, his personal experiences, even hinting at some kind of betrayal.
