Die-hard drum'n'bass fans may grumble at the sound's continuing diversion into other dance genres, but Sub Focus is undoubtedly at its strongest when it does just that. Skip past the generic offerings and it's an often exhilarating listen which heralds the arrival of a potential new dance supremo.

Pretty solid album. I like it. It's basically just a regular electronic album with some gems here and there. Most of the vocals were acceptable. This feels like it was made in around 2014, not 2009. So that's cool.

in the spotty world of dnb full-lengths, the consistency of sub focus' self titled debut is the standard that most others should be held to if you're looking for the best electronic music.
This is a LOT better than his later work. More urgency, more fire, higher tempo, more interesting melodies, not leaning as much on mediocre toplines. Rather high energy tracks and an awesome Daft Punk Sample as a cherry on top
