This noisy debut from the Seattle based duo presents a winning amalgamation of ideas with a sonic palette resembling post-punk, early 80's/90's underground rock & noise rock (comes to mind - Pavement, Sonic Youth, Pixies). Beyond the familiarity of this sound being heard throughout the record, they give it a fresh spin which holds its undeniable distinction to their contemporaries.
