Hey, that's a decent album. Riffs are nice and they are giving solid heavy metal or black 'n' roll vibes. Nothing really special, but gives pleasure and it's even sometimes catchy as hell.
This is really no different to Abbath's previous album, so everything I said about that one applies here as well. I'll give it a slightly lower rating given that the ideas are nothing new.
This album is decent, but just not my favourite type of black metal I guess. The instrumentation for the most part isn't that bad, save for the obnoxious guitar solos scattered throughout, but my least favourite aspect of Outstrider is the guttural vocal delivery that grows tedious pretty fast.
