I can see who this would be for, especially those who would appreciate those 70's space rock / prog electronic crossovers by Richard Pinhas and the like. To me, it gets past the point of epic and treads a tiny bit into the overblown territory, especially when they over-repeat some of the riffage/electronics. Still has some moments, but not for me x3
I loved it, it's a great mix between the riff style of Reflections of a Floating World with the psychedelic electronics of Innate Passage, but with a fresh flavor that makes it unique in their discog. The transition between the two songs is so smooth, it's almost like one long song.
I feel like I'm traveling through the space at the speed of light listening to this record, amazing EP by Elder.
After listening to Through Zero, I decided to revisit this EP - or rather, this single + interlude. Liminality is one of their greatest works, a fantastic single that hits as hard as anything on Reflections and has some of Innate Passage sprinkled in. The interlude, Dream State Return, is hypnotizing and ethereal.
i loved it
both songs were crazy and didnt drag
kinda wish there were more vocals but its still great
44/50
