Well, it's finally time. Blind is out… and all I have to say is thank you.
This project has been one of self-discovery; not only within the album's sound, but within myself. It feels like a love letter to a version of me that existed five years ago- a version that didn't have the confidence to share his work and passion with anyone but himself.
Sharing this work has been one of the most fulfilling yet difficult experiences l've ever faced. I'm so anxious, so ... read more
This is an interesting review to write because Jake is my best mate so I'm going to try and be as neutral and unbiased as possible.
It's the greatest album of all time. Makes Abbey Road sound like Thick of it.
Okay no but it is just amazing. I love this album and i am unbelievably proud of this man. I think this review deserves to include my raw and unfiltered reaction to when I listened to this masterpiece of an album for the first time, so I'm directly pasting my notes ... read more

I was recommended this record by the very man that made it, so I suppose that by rating it I'm giving him exactly what he wants, but what the hell, it was a good one. This album is basically Ben Folds if Ben Folds had a different accent and only wrote about breakups--which, by the way, isn't meant to be a criticism. I'm a sucker for some slightly jazzy piano pop, and since I've played Mr. Folds' stuff to hell and back, it's nice to have something similar to that I ... read more
