Get Scared is a band I was kind of late to finding out about, I had only discovered them back in 2018 and of course a year later they would drop their last album (for the time being) and go onto a hiatus which nobody knew why or what sparked it. one of the most consistent album discogs of any band in this niche of metalcore/post-hardcore
I'm not necessarily a huge fan of them, but this record is way too derivative of "more accessible" metal bands such as Bring Me the Horizon, to the point where some of these songs almost sound like covers. The majority of the material here isn't poorly performed, it's just not all that interesting in ideas at all. Not to mention how one-dimensional it is.
