F.O.O.L's best project to date. He has always had the ability to blend electro and synthwave so "effortlessly", but this is on a whole new level. The atmosphere has more vibes, the production has more gusto, and each track feels like it has enough variety to be a truly unique cut.

F.O.O.L.'s newest EP carries with it the producer's best crop of tracks in literal years, featuring some of the most creative ideas and cleanest production in his catalogue. He seems to have become a lot more confident with throwing some of his heavier production underneath his typical synthwave style, which has led to much more effective drops. F.O.O.L's "The Future" is a really solid collection of creative and well-produced darksynth and electro house tunes. The title track opens the EP with an all over the place hybrid of synthwave and electro house that does feel a little cliché during its synthwave switch-up during the midsection of the track and the vocal sample is a little corny and unnecessary but I think the messy quality lends itself nicely to the track and it ends up being a seriously hard-hitting ... read more
