This is quadeca's first attempt at an album. He definitely tries to emulate a lot of his influences on this (Logic, J. Cole, Kendrick). Unfortunately, the mixing isn't great & there's not many tracks of note. Nostalgia For the Now is miles better.
Every time I come back to this project it shows it's flaws more and more. It's really nothing special. Honestly the only thing I think it has going for it is the fact that Quadeca was 14 when he made this and that shows some potential, but even now it really isn't anything special when compared to other artists at a similar age I've listened to recently. He stumbles over his flows, his delivery is unstable, the fast rap sections are really pointless with lyrics that are borderline meaningless ... read more
Not bad for a 14 yr old kid, but overall a bad album
by far the best record ever dropped. tpab got nothing on work in progress(quadeca-1915)
Definitely the worst Quadeca album, but he was only 14. Making songs like this is real impressive for people that age, but it just doesn't hit for me.
