Like a lot of people have said it feels very influenced by Agalloch but this band still have their own certain sound since this feels a bit more straightforward black metal then how Agalloch sounds but still it has a lot of influence to it. This EP has some folk and Celtic influence to it which is really good. Woah, are we sure this isn't secretly an Agalloch project? So masterfully crafted, this is an amazing hidden gem. The drums are a little too punchy for my liking, but it's not overbearing.
This is the beauty black metal needs more of
The mix of Atmoblack and Dark Folk, sounds like it was always meant to be, the Agalloch influence is not hidden but instead it drinks from its source just as much as there's enough quality to it to make it their own. The variety in the songwriting, the vocals, the amazing riffs and punchy drums makes up for an incredible EP
