Inside/Outside comes another two years after Laugh About Life, and in that time it feels like Cookie got a good grasp on what he wants Pipe-Eye’s sound to be. This album has fairly different vibe from the last two records, a bit more cohesive and slow paced. Definitely one of Cook's best works. This album is jumpy, fun, silly, and does a great job at keeping me in its world. I especially enjoy the psychedelic influence, and damn those bass lines are tasty as hell.
