All things considered, Scriptures is Tee Grizzley’s most complete work. His improvements as a songwriter and the new melodic implementations clearly show that he’s been working to add to his artistic repertoire.

If only Tee stayed away from the autotune, because despite his first name, he is not T-Pain in the slightest on the hooks. The rapping however, is straight flames, with some solid trap beats. He continues his slew of vivid stories on his sophomore album, and it’s a damn good time

Tee Grizzley always has amazing delivery and story telling like nobody else. It's just his genre that holds him back. Old Kanye, Tyler, Frank Ocean, Prince, all of these people known for their catchy lyrics and choruses and such, think about the genre their in. Because Mr. Grizzley is in the Trap scene, his storytelling can't be elevated by the beat around him, the other pieces of production, and the lyrics are simply being restricted. Some decent cuts on here like gods warrior & scriptures but everything else on here was generic i was excited cause i saw it has timbaland production and even though it was pretty good it wasn’t interesting enough, also could do without the autotune singing tracks
