In Forward Escape, Tipper goes absolutely mental. There are those that pay great attention to detail and song composition. Then there is Tipper, who does the same, then proceeds to "micro-produce" each sound, percussive element, synth, sample and even fx shots that only show up ONCE in the song. As if each layer/instrumental element has a "song and structure" of its own.
Hes not making tunes, hes carving audio sculptures - and what a sight to behold.
Tipper is a silly name, which intrigued me and also seeing this artist have some form of buzz also interested me. I expected this to be a good album but THIS is an amazing album. Tipper’s most well known work (or at least I think is his) in Forward Escape is an incredible Glitch Hop EDM album with IDM textures that also combine elements of Psybient and Neurohop as well.
