This is that Frutiger Aero drum and bass. Ambient textures shimmer with oceanic and New Age tones, gliding over sleek postmodern DnB breaks. It’s radiant and nostalgic without the melancholy associated with nostalgia. It's optimism is effortless, as effortless as the album's flow. The main things that stood out to me about 'Liquid Colours' are it's cohesion and expertise. Each song seemlessly transitions to the next, every moment feels sonically and thematically in-line, not to mention the stellar production it's wrapped in. Through it's lush textures and extraordinary flow, 'Liquid Colours' feels like a cleansing, borderline enchanting experience.
