Hard not to get swept up in this pillowy, melodic IDM.

Another frustrating post-90s LP from Orbital. Here the brothers manage to deliver tracks that have bags of character such as Hoo Hoo Ha Ha, P.H.U.K and Tiny Foldable Cities yet also poop out generic EDM drivel like Buried Deep Within or vacant sci-fi rave like Vision OnE.

The Raid deserves a 2nd or 3rd movement in which it breaks down, freaks out then storms off into chaos, a good ol 8 minute romp, but no, they just repeat the same shapeless hook and then stop [sigh].

Their first bad album, and it's not just bad - it's gunk! Unfocused, cheaply assembled and creatively empty. These boys must have been wrung dry after the 90s.

Fantastic subversion of two glossy 80s pop songs into Laibach's ironic(?) right-wing propaganda image of the time. This is performance art and a mighty fine goth-industrial experience.

(Reviewed the original 8 track cassette version, not sure the additional 4 on the CD add much.)
