It’s all fantastically captured by Deafheaven and Gouge Away producer Jack Shirley, who makes Directions sound both contemporary and perfectly evocative of the era. Wonderful stuff.
Dynamic and incendiary, Knumears are making their mark with Directions and it’s one not to be ignored.

The Screamo sound has not been reproduced and pushed farther like this in 20 years it seems. Retracing back to the SKRAMZ era, but infusing some modern metalcore elements that balances the sassy clean vocals in a really intriguing way.
Directions by Knumears was a great screamo/hardcore album. It's a very short listen, being only 25 minutes long. However in this short period of time Knumears were able to deliver such powerful and emotional music. I really enjoyed this. It's angry, ferocious, and agonizing in this artistic way that pulls on your emotional strings. Directions is beyond well written and I certainly had a fun time with the listen
