What a snoozefest.
Accept's second album of the 90s sees the band dive headfirst into the trends of the decade, after just flirting with them on the last album. To their credit, the second half of the album is actually kind of fun at times. Udo getting to do Generation Clash is pretty cool, for example, and I like the two instrumental tracks a bit. God this album is bloated, and filled with way too many repeated, chugging songs to make it fully worthwhile. While there are still some great songs to be found, this album is one that is just like a big wall of sludge to get through. The riffs are good, and there are some bangers, but overall, the length of the album along with the sheer repetitivness of it makes this one that is very hard to go back to
