It’s been a while since I’ve joined this site. Late 2023, as a matter of fact. Haven’t been as active in the community as I could’ve been, but going around and finding new music to listen to, then writing down my thoughts on them has been great in and of itself. Whatever comes after is a bonus… still, I appreciate anyone that’s taken the time out of their day to read, interact, or follow my page on this site. It’s nice. ... read more
One of my favorites recently. Guess I've been feeling the Nu Metal angst particularly well as of late.

We're all getting older, I'm afraid.
Anyhow, Megadeth's final album is also a self titled one. A final statement from the band (or Dave, because, let's ... read more
One of the better prog rock albums out there. Is that a surprising thing to say? No. I mean, anyone who cares about the genre knows this band, but still.
First off, I love the sheer creativity of this project. It opens up with some incredibly chaotic guitar sections that are mindboggling for '72. The textures laid down by both the really fast, squeaky playing as well as the sparse yet out there sounds on the second pull in two different directions. You really don't know what ... read more
