"Happy End" needs to be part of a liminal space playlist cause damn does it fit that vibe SO well!

Another striking highlight is the beautiful ambient track "Loom" which knows the rule keep it simple stupid and takes the listener into a wistful journey amongst the floating clouds to finish off this album.

Everything else was fine and didn't do anything offensive but lacked anything that got me really into what they were offering.

I agree with the sentiment that this sounds a little more dated than some of YMO's first releases though the group was still producing some of the most forward thinking synthpop and electronic music of the early 80s in my opinion even if I prefer Solid State Survivor

"BGM" is another fun project by YMO, with joyous synthpop compositions.

In YMO's third album, we have ten tracks that show their ethos and style in an interesting way. Their electronic experimentation is presented with rich arrangements of sounds and ideas that can be easy-going or quite experimental. Although it isn't as colorful, engaging and creative as their two previous records in my opinion, it still presents an interesting experience.
