If your review of an album consists of something along the lines of “Not groundbreaking but it gets the job done” please, just put a sock in it,
BECAUSE WE’VE HEARD IT 1000 TIMES BEFORE

Vaporwave without samples…it’s such a simple idea, but so much beauty blossomed because of its creative integrity.
The glossy keys, the lush & vibrant synth work, my issue with vaporwave has always been how sometimes it just feels like a recycling bin of samples but…there’s nothing here that’s being breathed into with new life.
This IS the new life.
