Don’t get me wrong, Aquemini is a fantastic record, but Stankonia was always MY OutKast album. With songs like Spaghetti Junction, Ms. Jackson, B.O.B. and plenty more, the amount of classics on here makes this record a forced to be reckoned with within the genre. We got mixtape/EP of the year right here, goddamn. Genuinely some of Gao’s nastiest production, the performances were genuinely desperate and crazed in a way I don’t believe I’ve heard from them before. I can’t think of a single skip or flaw, it’s just that good
This might somehow be an even greater year for music than last year
