'Window' is a slight dip in quality after the impressively consistent 'FQS',and certainly 'Lady on the Rocks for September' is his weakest opening effort at this stage of his career up to this point.
In fact things only arrive at a comparable quality with the introduction of 'Among the Trees' that's a slowly evolving hypnotic number that rates among the man's very best.
