The only thing the five boys of *NSYNC have is good looks, good producers, and a couple of catchy singles like "I Want You Back." That's enough for a hit, and not quite enough for an album. Even so, the filler is well made and competently performed, which means their teen fans will enjoy the album while it's hot.

Overall, the band genuinely have some decent songs in their back catalogue, but listening to this LP in its entirety is painful to sit through. There is no craftsmanship here, no real care put into their work and it just feels like another album made to keep the big wheel turning; just like many others at its time.

NSYNC's self-titled debut album is a fun little 90s boy band album. Most of the tracks on the record are pretty boring and only a handful of tracks carry the album. Other than being a little fun and nostalgic, NSYNC's self-titled album is not very substantial.

Nostalgia artist's debut album.

NSYNC is a very, very, very big band from the 2000s, known for their songs like It's Gonna Be Me, and Bye Bye Bye, my personal favorite song from the group. They have a short but sweet discography and some really great hits. However, the 2000s wasn't where the group started, as hard as that may be to believe. No, they started out back in the late 90s and released their first album on March 24, 1998. Well, unless you were in Germany, ... read more

I am SO glad I decided to listen to this because wow I was not expecting such a fun start and for it to continue throughout the whole album.

I just want to say something here too so I'll use this review for it, my 500 follower special(s) are still being worked on, they might not be posted until the end of January, but who knows. I'm taking my time with them which is nice that I can do that instead of stressing myself out and pushing myself to finish them all in one sitting.

But let me talk ... read more

Tearin' Up My Heart is such a heavy hitter to start off with
(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You is too slow and uninteresting for me
You Got It had a fun little a cappella thing going on in the middle
Not sure why I Need Love has such a low rating, the instrumental is a nice eurodance beat
I Want You Back deserves the resurgence it's getting
The spoken word section on Everything I Own felt out of place
Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy) feels like a copy of Savage ... read more

Noticing that most 90s pop albums are like 2-3 really good singles and then like ~10 or so unremarkable tracks for the rest of the album, but that fact is usually left out when I hear millennials and young gen-xers glaze the era’s music.
