“Changes” is essentially a passion project by producer and songwriter Jeff Barry that Micky and Davy simply acquiesced to, to fulfill their original contracts. For what it is, it’s an enjoyable enough listen, but as the ending to The Monkees original 9 album run, it’s rather disappointing.
