At its loudest and most brash, the album is fun and cathartic on par with any good high-energy rock band. In the moments when punk vitriol meets reflective, thoughtful expression, Far Enough grows more intriguing and compelling.
In what’s proven to be an outstanding year for Australian music releases ‘Hope’ starts off with an unapologetic Aus accent before hitting it’s inevitable punk stride. On ‘Tell Them Where To Go’ sideways guitars and seriously sinister bass lines are mounted by the fury of Jenny McKechnie’s vocal sneer.
