Let's start saying the following. Even when there is an undeniable link to Fugazi (in obvious historical and musical terms), this album is also totally amazing by its own merits, you do not need to be a Fugazi follower to loved this record, you just need to be able to love any good record.

For those itching for a Fugazi reunion two decades since their last release, Coriky is the closest you may ever get to that reunion. Ian MacKay and Joe Lally of that famed post-hardcore act team up with drummer and wife of MacKay Amy Farina of the Evens, composing this line up of Coriky. The results are perhaps some of the best straight-up post-hardcore we've gotten since, well, Fugazi.
