900 ratings and I knew I had to pick something killer for my 900th rating so let’s go for one of the most underrated thrash albums ever imo. Just absolutely fucking crushing riffs and the vocals on this album rule. The guitar work is lethal and all of the songs kick serious ass. Genuinely a fantastic fucking album.
Terrific thrash, terrible vocalist. Not even a good vocalist with annoying falsettos like Toxik, Artillery, or maybe even King Diamond. Just plain awful vocals. Besides that, the thrash here is excellent. “Chalice of Blood”, “Feel the Pain” and “Through the Eyes of Glass” have exceptional hooks, catchy riffs, fun lyrics despite the vocalist, and a staple of what thrash should sound like.
