absolute fucking filth, this album had me in aw for the entirety of it, the riffs were absolutely bonkers, insanely groovy, the groove will take you completely over, listen to this thing if you in anyway like djent and oh yeah, the artwork is absolutely fucking amazing, it's very dark and ominous, the atmosphere that this album holds throughout is also amazing.
If Knocked Loose is Spongebob-core, then this would be Patrick-core.
Love the vocals on this one. But the lack of variety in sound becomes more apparent once you reach the middle of the album. Lyrics are also too on the nose.
No shower is gonna clean off this filth.
It may not be my favorite thing this year, but I have to give it to the group. I haven't truly heard anything this absurdly heavy in a while. This is basically djent deathcore and it's a wild ride. I didn't actually think that a band would release an LP where literalpy every song is drop tuned filth, but that's what happened. Pretty sure they almost found the brown note on this one too.
Good luck to anyone else trying to make this shit work.
