Considering the irresistible qualities of his previous hits, “Headlines” is a pretty jarring listen – a single that doesn’t so much grab your attention, but astonishes in its overall lack of surprise.

Headlines won't change his fortunes in either country; the three note Philip Glass-style riff is solid (although, of course, repetitive) but Drake's voice has been so autotuned that he sounds like a sad robot. Still I'd rather listen to this than Paranoid Android.
