Humble beginnings indeed. I do find it impressive he has more or less focused on refining the style he started out with all the way up to today, but the start of that style is bordering on unlistenable at points.
Stick Up: 1.5/10 this song is nearly 5 minutes and you feel it. Sample is dumb and annoying. Drop is sluggish and mind-numbing

Eptic's very first self-titled EP explores the roots of his wonky original dubstep sound. It's very rough here and hardly enjoyable at all though. Still pretty neat in terms of how early this was.
Sure it's very dated but I find this an impressive start from Eptic. How many bass music artists are there with a first ep that sounds at all listenable or like the sound they would become synonymous with? I personally actually enjoy this ep at times, that quality of it actually still sounding like classic Eptic helps a lot.
