it gets a few more points than i’d normally give something like this because of how much it influenced my taste in dubstep in the future, but i cant help wondering why everyone seems to agree this is his best album. it has variety, sure, but the mixing is weirdly empty and also insanely sharp and kind of tinnitus-inducing at points, and the different concepts he tried to explore on here other than heavy dubstep arent super well executed.
My forgiveness of Excision's bad mixes ends with this album. While much of it is banging I don't really find myself having much reason to come back to it simply due to the fact that so many contemporaries sounded better than Excision at this point in time, and the hook game just isn't there on a lot of these tracks.

Is this Excision's best album? No, I personally think "Apex" is better, but it's close. This does have its moments though.
Excision began to work more on their mixing here on out. It's a lot more bearable than "X Rated." But it's weird, as the tracklist progresses, the mixing gets *slightly* better, but the sound design kept getting worse.
