Intro - Honestly i really enjoyed the intro, it’s less of an actual intro but more a song. Which is honestly a really good listen, it’s heavy in tone and some really heavy drums and brutal vocals, it’s a great way to introduce this track

Of course I discovered this album through the Hardlore podcast. That's not important. What's important is how good this and moshable this metalcore LP is. Throwdown's Haymaker is an insane venture into the past because I didn't think breakdowns sounded like this until a few years later. Some groovy hardcore. I like that. Haymaker by Throwdown is pretty heavy, carries a lot of energy and is almost as if Hatebreed and Pantera mixed their sound but leaned heavy towards the hardcore sound. As the years would go by Throwdown would become groove metal and would sound a lot closer to Pantera than this. And on here it's only a pinch of groove metal inspiration so don't expect a lot of it.
