The old school crunchy approach ventures into metalcore territory while always retaining its straight edge undertones. The band always had one foot in the metalcore space and one in the old school beatdown mosh style.
Beyond Repair was my first impression of Throwdown, & I have to be honest. I did not expect this record to be this heavy. The production feels like a cyclone of a million ass beatings with these thick riffs & violent breakdowns. The vocals are super raspy but still so aggressive. Absolute stank face the entire listen. Insane hardcore/metalcore record.
